Heart disease kills about 697,000 people in the United States a year. About 805,000 will have a heart attack. Most people know someone affected by it, but they do not know much about it.
- *Heart disease defines several different heart conditions. The most common is CAD. CAD restricts blood flow to the heart, leading to a heart attack. Symptoms of a heart attack are heart burn, dizziness, vomiting, indigestion, and chest discomfort.
